He admitted, “There is always pressure when participating in a project, but the pressure for Squid Game Season 2 is especially intense. The director has to complete the script, communicate with multiple actors, and oversee the filming process, which is an enormous burden. On top of that, we also filmed parts of Season 3 simultaneously. The massive filming workload was a huge test of both physical and mental endurance.”
Lee also revealed that he did his best to align with the director’s vision and emotional guidance, allowing himself to fully immerse in the role. This focus helped him temporarily forget the pressure during filming. However, after meeting with reporters that day, he felt the weight of responsibility: “I hope the show receives positive reviews. This kind of expectation adds even more pressure.”
